Together he and Darrell also began D & M Sales and Salvage, which is being operated as D & M International Sales and is under new management.

He has been a loyal friend to many in Pierce County, helping whenever called upon. His family attends the First Methodist Church of Blackshear. His helping hand has paved the way for many small businesses to grow within the county. Mr. Mac Thompson has assisted businesses and individuals alike, and is a true friend to all who know him.
